Welcome to Armuchee Middle School!
Mr. Chad Moore is entering his fourth year as principal of Armuchee Middle School. This is his 16th year in education, serving as a teacher and administrator for 12 years in Gordon County prior to coming to AMS.
Mr. Shane Arp will be serving as assistant prinicpal at AMS for the 20-21 school year. This is Coach Arp's first year in an official administrative role, but he has served as a coach and teacher leader for many years prior. Coach Arp is a staple in the Armuchee community and looks forward to this next step in his leadership journey.
Mrs. Cauprice Clance is in her first year as counselor at AMS. Mrs. Clance has served in a similar role in Gordon County for the past 5 years but is very excited about getting to know and serving the students, parents, and staff at AMS.
As the administration of Armuchee Middle School, we believe in:
- Creating a culture where students feel safe, loved, and valued.
- Helping our students become better learners AND better people.
- Modeling the behaviors and attitudes we expect from our students.
- Putting others first and serving those around us.
- Establishing respectful, transparent, and supportive relationships with parents.
We are blessed to have an amazing staff that understands the importance of building meaningful relationships with students in addition to providing quality instruction. We want AMS to be the school where every kid wants to attend and the school that every parent wants their kid to attend. We welcome any feedback that will help us achieve that goal.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, concerns, or suggestions for how we can better serve our students and community.
